The staff are great, accommodating, and know the area well. It's a safe area in a secure building, very close to the beach. The accommodations are good for an economy stay, but remember it's a budget option in a developing country. Some rooms get street noise, and if you need hot water and free potable water, this may not suit you.

At least it's only a five-minute walk to the beach, and the staff are friendly. But the place was dirty, with just one bathroom/toilet for a ten-bed dorm. I paid 19usd for a bunk with a disgusting, moldy mattress, which felt pretty expensive. The stoner guy also hadn't received our hostelbookers reservation and was kind of annoying.

The staff are nice, I'd give them three stars, but the hostel is poorly managed, one star. I could barely sleep because there were so many mosquitoes. Putting a mosquito net over every bed would be a small investment and would make the whole stay a lot better.

We were awake all night because of very loud live music somewhere near the hostel. I can't say it was the hostel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind. The mattress smelled and had disgusting stains, and the kitchen was horrible and unsanitary. Really, this place should be shut down. Stay away, run for your life!

It's cheap, and the owners are kind. The place is very small, and people only stay a few days. There's no hot water, the water smells bad, and the shower drips. There's no microwave, and Wi-Fi only reaches half the hostel. It's next to the public beach entrance.
