The bed was really uncomfortable, with a peak in the middle of the mattress. My biggest issue, though, was taking cold showers. There was no hot water on our first stay, and a week later in the same apartment there still wasn’t any, even after I reported it. It felt like they didn’t care once they had my money. The day after our second checkout, they said they were working on the hot water. That should have been fixed after the first stay. We used this Air BNB for a pre- and post-stay around our time at Hard Rock, and the location worked well for us.

Loved it! The property was beautiful, the pool lovely, and the host and guide were amazing. Hard Rock was a 10-minute walk, and I could get picked up there for all my excursions.

We needed somewhere to stay for two nights after arrival, before checking into all-inclusive hotels, and this apartment did the job. It was a good short stay. The two-bedroom place was a good size, clean and comfortable, with nice bedding, a well-equipped kitchen, and fast Wi-Fi. There was no shower gel or soap, but the host kindly dropped off two bars of soap the next day. We arrived around 9pm on the first day. The security guard helped us contact the host, who sent the key box code via WhatsApp. There aren’t any restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, apart from the restaurants at Hard Rock Hotel, about 600m away. We ate there and ordered takeaway pizza from the casino restaurant. It was around USD 22 per pizza including service and tax, not cheap but good food. We took a full-day tour to Santo Domingo with pickup from the apartment. A longer stay would be inconvenient without a car. We didn’t use the pool, though it was a good size. After checkout, we booked a taxi through Uber to the next hotel, and it arrived within three minutes.

Getting basic supplies was a hassle from unit H306. We had to take a taxi for 20-30 minutes to find water, food, or anything else, and the host hadn't left even salt. It was also very hard to reach them. We waited two days just to get the WiFi code. I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend booking this through Airbnb.
