Hostal las Rosas de Punta Cana

We arrived at about 10:35 p.m. and couldn't check in because reception was closed. I tried calling the hotel on WhatsApp, but nobody answered. Maybe 10:35 was late, but I hadn't received any message explaining reception hours. I cancelled through the travel agent app around 11:30 p.m. and didn't get a refund.

A terrible experience. I came to check in and was kept waiting for an hour, only to be told the room wasn't ready. Then they said I couldn't pay by card, only cash. They said they accepted US dollars, so I handed over a $100 bill, but had to come back for the change later because they didn't have it then. That was around 3 p.m. By 10 p.m. I still hadn't got my change. They said keeping change at the hotel wasn't their responsibility and sent me out to find some on the street, even though I had an early flight the next morning. The staff treated me disgracefully, and the whole experience was awful. I really don't recommend staying here. Treating customers this way is nowhere near reasonable.

You get your own bathroom and a shared kitchen, and it's perfect for what it is. It's cheap, clean, and close to the beach. Well worth the money.

I stayed here for about two months and was very happy with it. It's a cozy, clean family hotel in a convenient spot, with cafes and bars nearby and the beach close by. There are kitchens, a big fridge, air conditioning, fans, and different rooms for different budgets. Dominga is welcoming and generous, and if you need something, she'll get it for you. I especially appreciated her help when there was a problem with flights. Thanks for a lovely stay. I understand why people return here, and wish the hotel lots of success and clients!
