For the price, the quality is pretty good. The room was clean and fairly quiet, which was enough for us, though very basic: a bed, counter, a couple of hangers instead of a proper wardrobe, and a bathroom, with no extras. It had only a tiny curtained window, so there wasn't really any natural light. The staff were friendly, but didn't speak any English.

We came with no plans and the staff helped us arrange a Saona Island excursion. It was the best choice, since other companies charged 59us and they charged just 40us. We stayed for two nights, and the staff were kind and helpful. The room price seemed fair, the place was clean, and most rooms have a small balcony. It worked out really well for us.

It's close to the diving centres and otherwise okay, but there were bed bugs. Staff said they'd take care of it and didn't apologize. I double checked, and I definitely mean your place. That was a bad way to handle it.

The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants are nearby, the street is quiet, and the bus stops right at the corner. The beach is about a 1 km walk. The room was clean, with a TV, air conditioning, fridge, closet, and comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but fine, and the shower has warm water. There's a shared sitting area, though no kitchen, and WiFi doesn't work inside the room.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the simple rooms were comfortable. It's good value for the price and location, on a quiet street just a few minutes' walk from the town centre. A good choice for budget travel to Bayahíbe.
