Playa Blanca Bed & Breakfast

Alexis was a very caring and friendly host. When our shower wouldn’t get warm, he tried to fix it quickly and apologized several times for the inconvenience. We stayed in a well-equipped small house with a cute little kitchen, close to the market, restaurants, gift shops, and Dominicus Public Beach. The breakfast was good in both quality and quantity, though it could be improved by adding a protein option.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Our unit had two bedrooms, but the one with single beds was tiny. The beds were squeezed between three walls and wouldn’t suit anyone over 1.7 m (5'7"). The bathroom was another problem. The shower space was very small, with no curtain or screen, so water went all over the bathroom. When I asked for something to dry it, they rudely pointed me to the mop. We didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t speak to it. Breakfast was simple, just coffee, pastries, juice that wasn’t fresh, and one or two fruit options. The restaurant service was terrible, especially if you’re not Italian. The pasta wasn’t good and it was expensive. There are better places just a few meters away for quality, price, and service.

We stayed at B&B PLAYA BLANCA in August 2024, and Alessio was kind and always available. Our Mariposa apartment was spacious and clean, with a patio on the ground floor, air conditioning and fans in the room. It had everything we needed, including a safe, hairdryer, large refrigerator and TV. The place is simple but charming, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. An update would make it even better. The location is a real plus: right in the center of Dominicus, near pedestrian Avenida Eladia, restaurants, shops, a bank and Dominicus public beach. Viva Dominicus Beach by Wyndham is across the street. It’s a quiet area and easy to get around on foot, even at night. Good value for money. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place with breakfast close to everything. Thanks, Alessio.
