There’s a mix-up with the listed address, so search for this place by name when navigating. If the cab driver doesn’t know it, tell them it’s across from Restaurante st tropez. It’s a hidden gem, and I couldn’t be happier with the price and value. The people running it are so nice and wonderful. They serve delicious breakfast every morning, and their star employee is Lucky, a wonderful little dog who handles security.

The beach is across the street, and the local food and nightlife are outstanding. I stayed for a few weeks and got to know Gabriel and Ana very well. I’d consider them friends, so I may be a bit partial. It can be a little hard to find. When you reach Pelicano’s, turn left and head up the hill. The staff are extremely pleasant and do their best to make you feel welcome and happy during your stay.

Be careful booking in the Dominican Republic. I believe this hotel is fake and a scam, and that it doesn’t exist. Don’t make a reservation here.

The price is great, and it’s a beautiful hotel with a nice pool and access to the beach.

The hotel is average but acceptable, with more than enough breakfast and very friendly service. Getting there is the hard part: the road is in terrible condition, signs are scarce, and both visibility and access are very difficult.
