The staff were warm and nice, and the place was very clean, including the rooms and towels. The pool was clean, the rental price was good, and the area felt safe and tourist-friendly. I left my car and walked everywhere, with everything I needed about two blocks away. Sprint global roaming worked excellently in DR, and I loved the beautiful culture. The rooms are beautiful and well suited to spoiled Americans, with free WiFi, TV, A/C, a microwave, a fridge, and plenty of American cable channels.

Casa coco is a small family-run hotel with a nice pool. It's clean and quiet, and an incredible value. The place is fully walled in and secure, with a night watchman. The owner, Thierry, will help with anything you need. Great location, just two blocks from the beach. Definitely recommend it.

I've stayed all over the D.R., but keep coming back to Casa Coco. The former owner, Thiery, has passed on, and the new owner, Gerd, has made major renovations to update the place. The staff feel like friends, the pool is refreshing, and the location is good, considering Boca Chica itself isn't so great.

The pool is great, the beer comes cold, and the staff are lovely. It’s quiet and feels safe, yet only a block from the main drag. All that for under $30 including tax. What more do you need?
