The owner and staff are nice, but the rooms need renovation. They also need a proper cleaning to get rid of the dusty smell.

This was my second vacation at the Mirador, and it feels like home. Calling them “rooms” doesn’t do them justice: each apartment has a double bedroom, a living room with a sofa and table, and a kitchen for cooking. They’re all well maintained and impeccably clean. The staff are super friendly, and the manager is simply great. The night watchman does an excellent job, and every apartment has a safe, which matters a lot. I highly recommend the Mirador. Aldo, the manager, has also added the restaurant Raceli. His cooking is divine, with what I’d call a magic touch. Some people make things turn out well, and Aldo and I are both like that. The prices are very fair, too. P.S. When I visit the Dominican Republic, my things always come back smelling damp. That never happens at the Mirador.
