Getting to the cabin can be a real challenge, so I'd only recommend the trip if you're a confident driver with a 4x4. Once there, I was amazed by how well equipped everything was, especially given how remote it is. The cabin was comfortable, very well managed, and had everything I needed. It's surrounded by pristine nature with lots of endemic bird species. Probably the coolest place I've ever stayed.

The cabins are simple, quaint, and rugged, set among beautiful nature. The whole place feels calm and almost surreal, with a unique microclimate in the heart of the Caribbean. It's an ecological treasure we should all protect.

It gets wonderfully cool here, with temperatures around 10C at night and 19C in the middle of the day, which feels so unusual for a Caribbean island. The cabins are comfortable, and the lush surroundings have some nice trails inside the national park. The staff are great and, for an extra cost, can cook for you and bring wood for the fireplace. Bring all the food you need, since the nearest supermarket is 40m away each way. An excellent ecolodge and a must for a nature experience.

I loved it here. The rustic cabins are well maintained and come in different sizes for families or groups of friends. The cool to cold weather makes staying on a tropical island feel wonderful. A great place to relax.

It's a cool place to get away from everything, and the people are super nice. Bring your own food, and don't come without a 4x4, especially if it's been raining.
