After we spent a day complaining, they finally moved us to nicer rooms. At first, staff even tried to charge us all over again, saying the new booking was a separate reservation they'd made by mistake. The room we eventually got was very nice, but the whole process wasted a day. On top of that, we were made to pay a New Year's Eve party charge that nobody had told us about beforehand, and the power went out every 10 minutes. Worst hotel experience of my life.
