Viva Heavens by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive

Timéo and Esther were especially kind and made the trip so much better. They treated us like friends, and the entertainment staff deserve a huge shoutout too. There were fun activities around the pool and beach most of the time, plus interactive, impressive shows at night. The discoteca stays open from 11pm-2am, so there’s plenty of nightlife. The rooms are basic but clean, and we had no trouble with the AC or water. I’d rate the food 8/10. Drinks, juices, and frozen cocktails weren’t great quality, though there were plenty to choose from. The beach is gorgeous and goes on for many kilometres, great for long walks, but there’s no shade from umbrellas, just palm trees. This was the most fun I’ve had at an all inclusive, and I’d definitely come back.

The entertainment was awesome, they made our days so much fun. The rooms and grounds were very clean, and the food, including the à la carte restaurants, was good. We had a few issues, but the front desk sorted them quickly and moved us to another room. The staff could be friendly. The walk to the beach is lovely, and the beach restaurant is pretty and clean, with good food. We weren’t fans of the drinks. Getting into the pool would be hard for anyone with mobility issues because there are no railings or handles, and the beach walk is a challenge for them too. We wouldn’t return, but that’s because we prefer a single building with all the rooms together, which we find better for socializing. Viva didn’t have much space for people when it rained. More tables and chairs at the pool bar would help guests enjoy themselves in rainy weather.

My mom and I had an amazing five days at Viva Heavens Hotel in POP. She hadn’t traveled in over ten years, and all the staff were wonderful, from the buffet, bars, Blend coffee shop, gardeners and room cleaners to the spa, reception, and guest services. The hotel and our room were both very clean. We liked the buffet theme nights, and the beach was well kept. Luckily, there was very little seaweed. As a birder, I loved the little Oasis walk to the beach, where we spotted lots of wildlife. We also loved the cats hanging around. I regret not bringing my wildlife camera, lol. We’ll be back!

We arrived around 11pm after Easter in heavy rain, and the security agent at the lobby still gave us a lovely welcome. The receptionist was kind too. I’m grateful to GM Jennifer for the beautiful room and for checking in on us during our stay. The buffet staff were amazing, and the mini club girls were fantastic. It was our first visit, and we’ll be back in December.
