I spent part of my vacation this year at the Don Tobo Cabin in Jarabacoa, and the natural setting made it feel like a real escape. There was fresh air, lovely views, and a traditional, comfortable feel. The Tobo cabin has a serene atmosphere and charming decor, plus a river you can explore, with clear water and currents that are very calming. I got to enjoy quality time with family and friends, along with live music and karaoke. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend the Don Tobo Cabin if you're looking for somewhere fresh, cozy, and peaceful to unwind.

The host and owner were really kind and attentive, and the place itself is comfortable and very nice. I did find the terrace floor uncomfortable to walk on barefoot. Even in the mountains, I think air conditioning in the rooms would make things more comfortable. I might come back if they address those details.

There’s lots of room, with a large kitchen and really nice bedrooms. I loved it. It also has a pool, a second-floor terrace, and is close to the river.
