Casa Taina made our vacation unforgettable. The owners were so generous and welcoming, and this couple made us feel at home. Their son Victorio was very well behaved. They even invited us to share a home-cooked meal made with Italian ingredients. Pablito speaks four languages and has a very fitting sense of humor. The small studio has two comfortable beds, is clean, has hot water, a kitchen area for cooking, a refrigerator, and wonderfully fresh air. We loved the quiet days listening to birds under the mango, plantain, and lemon trees. Mr. Pablo knows a lot about places to visit. We went to La Bicicleta, the mountains, Rancho Rio Escondido, and parque Ecológico Confluencia, where we went horseback riding. Mr. Pablito also took us to a bakery for delicious chocolate cake. There are several attractions just minutes away, including Restaurant Jamaca de Dios, Cafe Colao, and Taino Spa in Hotel Jimenoa. I’d definitely return and recommend Casa Taina. Taína looked after us like family, and the service was fantastic. Casa Taína is close to Jarabacoa’s most popular spots. I highly recommend staying here, don’t miss out.

What I remember most from Casa Taina is how kind the owners were. I was lucky enough to share breakfast, lunch, and dinner with them, which gave me a little window into their daily life. The place was spacious, quiet, and clean too. I spent two days in Jarabacoa, and choosing to stay here was one of my best decisions in the Dominican Republic. Thanks for everything.
