The area is very quiet, so getting to a city to explore takes a roughly 30-minute drive or Uber. We spent 11 days here and had a great time, and we’d definitely return. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was extremely clean, with staff sweeping and mopping each morning. The beach right by the resort was great for sunsets, though not the most exciting for swimming. About 200 m to the east there’s a pristine sandy beach and a rocky spot for snorkeling. There were plenty of chairs and both shady and sunny spots, so we never struggled to find a chair or mini table. The buffet had lots of variety and themed nights. Sometimes an item ran out, but the staff were happy to bring more or offer something similar when asked. Of the restaurants, we liked the Mexican best. It was a solid Tex-Mex style, like Lonestar if you know the place.

We had a memorable evening dining at the Lolita restaurant. The food there was wonderful, and José and his colleagues gave us excellent service. It’s a well-managed resort with good restaurants, a beautiful beach, interesting shows, and friendly, helpful staff.

The entertainment team really made our stay even better. Yuleidi and Emanuel were amazing, so kind and welcoming, and their hospitality was excellent. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

From the minute we arrived in the lobby, we were approached about a timeshare. We kept saying no, but staff pressured and harassed my family every day until I had to raise my voice to get them to leave us alone. It was by far the worst resort experience I’ve had, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it for a family trip. Our first room had a clogged shower drain, so we paid extra to move to the “VIP” section. The upgrade didn’t help much. We had to call housekeeping over and over just to get the room cleaned, and when they came, their attitude was often unprofessional. The resort seemed much more focused on making money than giving guests a good experience. Cleanliness and customer service clearly weren’t priorities.

The country and resort were beautiful, and the restaurant food was delicious. Our rooms were very clean, and the cleaners gave A+ service. But people were constantly trying to get our money on the beach, with all that hustle culture, so I can’t give it five stars.
