Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa - Adults Only

The Preferred Club made us feel spoiled, and I’d definitely recommend the experience since everything is included. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the pools were looked after too. The children's zone was fun for kids and adults alike, with slides and a lazy river for grown-ups as well as smaller slides and fountains for little ones. There was lots of variety at the buffet, including plenty of fish and seafood, which I enjoy. The theme nights, like the Mexican one, were fun, and the other restaurants offered different cuisines, including Peruvian and Italian. Three of the dinner restaurants are adults only. The hotel and spa are in an absolutely stunning location, with kind, courteous, friendly staff. I’d definitely visit another Dreams resort.

Everyone working at the hotel was friendly and keen to help. The service was incredible. We loved the chocolate Marta Dino made for us every night, and Orquidea was so attentive to the details when cleaning our room.

The ocean was breathtaking, clear turquoise water and calm, like a postcard. Our kids loved the waterpark, and honestly, we had just as much fun there. We also felt completely safe throughout the resort. Security was professional without being intrusive, so we were comfortable letting the kids enjoy themselves while we relaxed. We travelled from Canada and stayed in the Preferred Club, which was absolutely worth it. The resort was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made our whole family feel at home from the first day. The drinks were fantastic, some of the best all-inclusive cocktails we’ve had, and the food was excellent for adults and kids. There was always something delicious to choose from, and even our kids looked forward to meals. We’ve just come back from an incredible week at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic, and we’re already talking about returning. It was a perfect family getaway, and we’ll definitely be back!

The open areas are kept beautifully, and the family water park is a lot of fun. Service was great throughout, from the restaurants and bars to room service and the concierge. It’s a lovely little place, and the rooms were nice and clean, though the AC could be stronger. The resort has recently been renovated, so older reviews don’t apply anymore.
