We ended up booking this beachside hotel at 1am after finding rats in our Airbnb, and it saved the trip. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, though the cooking items could use more care or replacing. We appreciated the free parking, hot showers, bidet, and easy walk to good restaurants. The saltwater pool was a unique touch and even warm at the end of the day. The poolside bar made great drinks, and breakfast was substantial. Get the mofongo, you won’t be disappointed. There were mostly older guests, but a few families with young kids too.

The breakfast is a big part of why we keep coming back. It’s freshly made to order by some of the nicest staff, and you should ask for the Tres Golpes with mangu. My family and I make this trip whenever we go to DR, and somehow we nearly always end up in the same second-floor room overlooking the pool, with a great balcony. We usually get the two-bedroom setup. Each bedroom has its own AC, there’s a shared bathroom plus one in the master, and there’s a full kitchen, living room, and big patio. The rooms are just right, and I love everything here, from the views to the breakfast. You won’t regret staying at this beautiful hotel.

The hotel was nice and so was the staff, but they charged me more than $140 above the price the OTA had given me. They said it was because of the exchange rate, but I’ve traveled all over the world and never seen such a big difference from currency exchange. If they can’t honor the prices they advertise on those platforms, they shouldn’t use them. I’ll never book here again.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the views were something else. It was my first stay here, and I’ll definitely come back. The rooms had plenty of space to relax and live in, and the included breakfast was delicious, made to order, and amazing. The pool was comfortable and well kept, and the cleaning staff were impeccable.

It’s right by the beach and has a good breakfast selection, but the showers had no hot water. Aside from one staff member, the service gave the impression they’d rather not have guests.
