The two pickleball courts were well maintained and had plenty of room for friendly games. That made this hotel a real find for me as an avid pickleball player, especially since Las Galeras has few hotels with sports facilities, maybe none. It was a highlight of my trip. The hotel was also clean and comfortable, with excellent service. I'd highly recommend it to pickleball fans looking for a nice stay and a great court behind the hotel/restaurant las ballenas.

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for our weeklong stay. We swam without other guests around and had drinks and played pool each night in the outdoor party area, which has lots of seating. There’s a nice pool, plus a large dining area where we had breakfast every day. Breakfast was excellent each time, with fruit, guac, breads, pancakes, eggs, meats and fresh juices. Maria, the cook, was excellent. The property is large and feels like a small resort on the outskirts of las galeiras, just off the main street. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious, with an outdoor sitting area we barely used since we had the rest of the place to ourselves. There were no kitchen tools, but Maria let us bring back glasses and cutlery when we needed them. We paid about 135 US per night, and it was completely worth it.

The town is quiet and had everything we needed, including shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is beautiful too. I spent my holiday here, and the room was clean and nice. We also had a delicious breakfast.

It’s a beautiful place, but only two people were working. There was no food or water, so you had to go elsewhere to eat or get drinking water. It felt a little expensive for the lack of service.
