La Fenice, Playa Popy

We spent two wonderful weeks at La Fenice. Peter and Julie were wonderful Airbnb hosts, and the apartment was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed. The grounds were kept so tidy, and I loved the saltwater pool. Restaurants were an easy walk away, with the beach right across the road.

Back again after some time, and the place is even better than I remembered. The landscaping is lush and well kept, and the buildings have been freshly painted. The sunsets, beautiful beach, and nearby restaurants are just as wonderful. It’s also stayed lovely since my earlier visits. The clear turquoise water and golden sand are only a few steps away, with gorgeous views, a large pool for swimming laps, and lush grounds. There’s now an oceanfront walkway leading all the way to the town center. Several beachfront restaurants have opened on both sides of the complex, so you can sip a mojito beneath a palm tree just 10 yards from the ocean. Loved it!

The neighborhood is so welcoming, and people around here are friendly. This beautiful place is steps from the white sand beach and lots of top-notch restaurants. I’ll visit again!

We first came in 2019 through an Airbnb rental, loved it so much that we bought our own unit. The beach in the picture is directly across the street. The grounds are beautiful, and there’s even a dog of its own. We always feel safe here, with plenty of great restaurants nearby and an easy walk into town.
