La Serenisima Regina del Mar

The beach is a dream, and the residential has what feels like a private beach that isn’t crowded. It’s well located, and the hotel is great for a very competitive price. Breakfast was good, the bed was really comfortable, and everything in our room was very good. The service was awesome, especially from the bar and kitchen staff, though everyone was very nice. We stayed one night and would definitely return.

A quiet, relaxing spot with beach and pool access, close to Las Terrenas. The owner and staff helped us with several things, including arranging a quad rental and negotiating the price, ordering a taxi, and giving recommendations. Highly recommended!

The staff, service, accommodation, and food all went beyond what I expected. This little place felt like heaven and was exactly what my body and soul needed. I can’t wait to come back.

The rooms are beautiful, and the hotel itself is lovely and brand new. It’s in a private guarded complex in Portillo, about 5 minutes’ drive from las Terrenas. Our overall experience was nice, but you need patience because the staff seemed disorganized and not very client oriented. We booked two rooms but only got one at first, and had to complain to get the second. Towels were missing, and asking for them seemed to bother the staff. Breakfast took about 1 hour 30 minutes just to get eggs and fruit because they said they were understaffed.
