Hotel La Tortuga

The grounds are beautiful, and the location is perfect. You can walk to most places, or rent an ATV for the day at a reasonable price. The pool is great, and my kids loved it. The rooms are clean, though pretty tight if you squeeze four or five people into one. Breakfast isn't great, but it is included. For the price, it's a great place to stay.

It's a cozy little B&B, with lots of palms, a lovely garden, and a small pool. The clean rooms have a really tropical feel. The staff are professional, helpful, and polite, especially the owner herself. You can walk to the beach and the center in two minutes. I couldn't ask for more, and this will definitely be my place whenever I return to Samana.

The rooms were really comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was great too. It's an economical place in an excellent spot, within walking distance of restaurants and the beach. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'll be back.

It was quiet when we visited, so there weren't many other people around and we had the pool mostly to ourselves. The location is a little hidden, and that's outside management's control, but the stay was great. We were greeted with a nice drink, and our accommodation was ready. Our bungalow was near the pool, with five beds across two floors. The AC and ceiling fans kept it comfortable indoors. Management and staff were attentive and quick to help. Breakfast was included, which was handy since everything else is quite a walk away. I wouldn't recommend walking, especially in daylight. Renting a quad bike or something similar is a better idea. I'd come back and recommend the hotel.
