Mahona Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was better than we expected, and the staff were friendly. We stayed two nights earlier this month in this charming B&B. Our two-bedroom villa was gorgeous, very clean, beautifully decorated, and had comfortable bedding. The beach and restaurants are an easy walk away.

Breakfast here was one of the best parts of the stay. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully put together, from the warm bread and flaky pastries to the ripe fruit and juices that tasted freshly made. It was so filling that I honestly didn't think about food again until evening. The little touches in how it was prepared and served made the mornings feel special without any effort on our part. I felt safe on the property too. It was well secured, with cameras covering the important areas, so I could relax. Pierre and the team were warm throughout our stay, and I had some really good conversations with Pierre and other staff. Everyone seemed to make an effort to help guests feel at home. Pierre and his wife are special people, and you can sense how much care they put into all the details. The staff looking after the property were just as lovely, always smiling and kind, and they treated us like family. I've traveled all over the Dominican Republic, but this was the warmest, most welcoming stay I've had in Las Terrenas, and probably anywhere in DR. The place felt exceptional in every way, so I wanted to take the time to write a detailed review. I look forward to coming back.

We only just arrived, but I'm already impressed. The staff sent all the useful information ahead of time, and when I got there they were so welcoming and kind. After a long, difficult trip, they made me feel at home.

The B&B had a relaxed, close-knit feel, with a tasty breakfast and a laid-back pool area. We loved staying here. It's near the beach, with great bars and restaurants close by.
