The whole place is kept in excellent shape, and our room was very clean. They cleaned it daily and replenished the complimentary water and snacks. The room itself had a huge comfortable bed, and the fan above it did a great job cooling us down. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh juice, coffee, fruit, eggs made to order, and great bread. The hosts are so welcoming, and the service is top notch. There's a pool, and the place mixes a modern feel with a jungle vibe. The beach is just five minutes away. We had an amazing stay.

We were so pleased with the place and the people. My parents, my brother, and I spent 3 nights and 4 days there, and my mom chose so well. The owners were around most days, and they genuinely cared. The breakfast and dinners were among the best I've ever had. It's a quiet spot with restaurants and clubs nearby, and the beach is especially close, about a 6-8 minute walk. They did a great job with everything.

The hosts are knowledgeable and very capable, and they're around through the early part of the day. They make a generous, delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients, and the 24-hour security is reassuring. We loved the spacious rooms, with their high ceilings and airy feel. Hotel Punta Popy has lovely white cabins, green grounds, a central pool, and an open-air breakfast room. Las Terrenas can feel hectic, but HPP is set back from the busy seaside strip, so it stays peaceful while still being only a ten-minute walk from the beach strip.
