Hotel Vista Sur

The balcony was really nice, the room quite good, and the beach view great. The staff were very nice and helpful, though they didn’t speak English. It’s very close to the bars, so there’s noise. If you don’t like that, don’t stay here. If you enjoy music and the sea breeze, go for it!

You can fall asleep to the ocean and, from half the rooms, wake up to a gorgeous sunrise over the water. We’ve come back several times over the last eight years, and this is my favorite hotel anywhere. The service is friendly and professional, and it’s always super clean. The price is very reasonable. If you’re after a three-to-five-star luxury hotel with all the usual trappings, look somewhere else, maybe back at a resort center. But for an adventure traveler, this place is a dream. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed. Like me, you might even make it your new favorite spot mundial!

It’s clean and quiet, with air conditioning and a rooftop terrace. You can hear the sea at night, and the quality for the price is really good. If you’re heading farther south, there’s no decent hotel for miles, so this is a good place to stay. It’s a great option if you’re just passing through and need a room.
