Port N6 in Las Terrenas

The apartment itself was spectacular: lovely decor and furniture, clean, and full of a great vibe. The lake around it was another story, with mosquitoes everywhere after the rainy days. It really needs treatment. On our first night we were tired, so we ate at the restaurant at El Portillo. Parking was inconvenient, far away, and there weren't enough signs to find Buildings N and Q on foot. As we sat waiting for dinner, mosquitoes were biting us badly. We noticed something being sprayed nearby and asked if it was fog. They said they were exterminating mosquitoes. We could hardly breathe, since we were getting sprayed along with the insects. We left, while two of us stayed behind to collect the food, which was cold by then. Then we all got lost on the way back because there wasn't enough lighting or signage for the buildings above. We had to hurry to shut the apartment's front door because the mosquitoes were overwhelming and kept flying inside. The pool could be cleaner too, with debris needing regular attention.
