The private room with a shared bathroom is a good budget option if you want some privacy beyond what a dorm gives you. The Wi-Fi works perfectly, too. Luca, the host, is attentive and takes time to explain the stay and the area, including beaches, cafés, and useful local tips.

The owners are really friendly and helpful, and the internet is very fast. The cheaper private rooms are set up in one big hall without proper walls between them, though they still offer some privacy. The bed insect nets are a nice touch. Honestly, this isn't my favorite hostel, but it's the best one you'll find on Las Galeras.

For my first hostel stay, this was a really lovely experience. I had a private room with a comfy bed, and the nightly price was very reasonable. The bathroom was small, but it stayed clean, which I appreciated. I also liked how easy it was to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds. Everyone, including Lucas, was attentive from the moment I arrived ☺️. The hostel is centrally located, with the beach just a short walk away. I’d happily recommend it and hope to come back to explore Las Galeras more.
