The hotel was clean and comfortable, with excellent service, but the pickleball courts were the highlight for me. There are two well-maintained courts with plenty of room for friendly games. Las Galeras has very few hotels with sports facilities, maybe none, so finding this hidden gem made my trip. I highly recommend it to pickleball fans looking for a nice stay with a great court behind hotel/restaurant las ballenas.

We paid around 135 US per night for a clean, spacious, comfortable apartment, and felt it was completely worth it. There weren’t any kitchen tools, but Maria let us bring back glasses and cutlery when we needed them. The outdoor sitting area was nice, though we barely used it since we had the rest of the property to ourselves. We stayed for a week at this large property on the outskirts of las galeiras, just off the main street. It felt like a small resort, with a nice pool, an outdoor party area with a pool table and lots of seating, plus a big dining area where breakfast was served every day. We were lucky to have the hotel to ourselves, so we could swim and have drinks and play pool each night in peace. Breakfast was always excellent, with fruit, guac, bread, pancakes, eggs, meats, and fresh fruit juices. Maria was an excellent cook.

The beach is beautiful, and the town was quiet with all the shops, restaurants, and bars we needed. Our room was clean and nice, and breakfast was delicious.

It's a beautiful place, but only two people were working and there was no food or water. You have to go out to eat or get drinking water, and it felt a little expensive for having no service.
