Presidential Suites - ROOM ONLY

Being treated like a VIP was a new experience for me, and the service was awesome. There were a few things in the room that needed fixing, but they were handled quickly. Tito the bartender was a treat, Denise at the spa was amazing, and the front desk staff were courteous and professional. I’ll be back!

From the moment I arrived, Presidential Suites by Lifestyle had a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were super friendly and always helpful. I had a great stay, and the pool area and shared spaces were perfect for unwinding and enjoying the time there.

This place is beautiful, but it’s definitely not for everyone. We won’t be back. It may suit you if you’re on a budget, don’t mind the realities of a developing country, enjoy drinking and relaxing by the pool, don’t put much importance on vacation food, or want a big, spacious room. Those realities can include diarrhea, poor internet, and poor maintenance. Look elsewhere if you want actual luxury, good food as an important part of the trip, prompt service, meticulous upkeep, or high service standards. It’s also not a good fit if you have mobility issues.

Our room had dirty floors, cockroaches in the bathroom, and the shower knob was missing. Nobody explained anything to us, and none of the employees ever smiled. Making restaurant reservations was made difficult even though the restaurants looked empty. The food was terrible except at one place where we managed to get a reservation. The toilet stopped working at one point, and the shuttle that was supposed to run every 25 minutes between resorts seemed to come only every 45 minutes. That was completely inconvenient for my family, including little kids and my pregnant sister-in-law. This was the worst all-inclusive resort I’ve stayed at. Don’t make the same mistake, it was a waste of money.
