We rented an Airbnb in this complex in March and were very happy with the location and quality. It’s quiet and family-friendly, with nearby activities and dining around the marina. Most condos have amazing ocean views. The pool and beach are well kept, and each has a few huts and chairs included with your stay, which many places charge for. There were only a handful of people at the beach or pool each day. The grounds are clean and relaxing, and security is friendly, on duty around the clock, and walks the property. If you want a quiet, relaxing vacation, this is a good spot.

We rented A23 Punta Palmera through VRBO from Kevin in January 2026, and the whole stay was lovely. The condo was beautiful and well-appointed, with a spectacular view and the beach just steps away. Kevin and his on-site host, Hector, were helpful, and Kevin’s website had useful details about the unit and the area. Having the golf cart made getting around easy. We enjoyed the quiet Punta Palmera Beach, and Api Beach’s restaurant and bar were a short walk or cart ride away. Casa Costa was our favorite restaurant, with amazing food and service. We’ll be back for sure!

It’s a very nice place, but without a car you’re stuck, since Uber can’t get past the gates. There aren’t any restaurants right nearby, so you’ll need to shop for food.

Traveling here with my service dog was the worst experience. I have a certified service Dog, and the property has no clear rules for the beach area, but security guards and the so-called administrator kept harassing me. The administrator wouldn’t even speak with me properly. They said dogs weren’t allowed on the beach, then, after seeing her certificate, said she could be there on a leash at all times. I even had to keep her swimming with her vest and leash on. The treatment was ridiculous. She didn’t bark or go near other guests, and she’s a trained retriever collie mix and certified service Dog. I don’t recommend these apartments if you’re traveling with any kind of dog, as they discriminate and harass.

The beach water is breathtaking, and the villas have a quiet, romantic feel. It gets very dark and quiet at night. I’d recommend them if you’re not after the noisy resort atmosphere.
