Crisfer 501 - Punta Cana

It’s a quiet place to live with good amenities, and it has a charm of its own. To clarify, Crisfer Inmobiliaria and Residential Crisfer Punta Cana are not the same thing. Residential Crisfer Punta Cana is one of their projects. It’s only about halfway complete, though, and the development team hasn’t said when work will resume. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be about the developer’s administration. The community is still evolving and improving day by day. Let’s keep working with the maintenance team and the engineers responsible for finishing it so the final result is good.

Our apartment was new and nice, but there didn’t seem to be many people living there. We knew Punta Cana was a long way away, but thought we’d go for walks. Local drivers strongly advised against it because they said it was dangerous for tourists. I’d suggest staying here if you have a rental car. Uber is an option, though it’s uncomfortable.

The space was extremely small, and for the same price I’ve stayed somewhere three times the size. This was a last-minute booking for us. Unless you’re five feet tall, the couch won’t be comfortable. There’s nowhere to put open suitcases, so forget it if you have anything larger than a carry-on. There are no full-length mirrors, and only one TV, in the living room, with none in the bedrooms. The beds had plastic covers under the sheets, so we were sweating every night. The master bathroom clogged and flooded after a one-minute shower. The listing says there’s a jacuzzi, but it’s actually another pool with bubbles, a two-minute walk from the unit. The WiFi was surprisingly bad for such a tiny place, constantly glitching on and off. We also got locked out on the first night. You can’t even have day visitors because there’s a camera at the unit’s front door. I’ve used Airbnb for over 15 years and never had this kind of problem. We treat the homes as our own, and having visitors is part of sharing good times with family and friends. Anny using AIRBNB unit B203 forced my review off Airbnb and was very aggressive.
