Premium Level at Barceló Bávaro Palace

The spa was a real treat, with great service and reasonable prices. I also loved the drinks. They were strong, delicious, and consistent wherever I went around the resort. My room was genuinely nice, and housekeeping brought fresh towels and cleaned it every day. The grounds were beautiful and well looked after, and staff were friendly and attentive. The main restaurants were disappointing, but the 24-hour food spots were surprisingly good and became my go-to for something quick. I had a good stay overall. Better food in the main dining rooms would make it an easy five stars.

The kids were thrilled with the big pools and water slides, while the adults had a pristine beach and plenty of entertainment. Food was all-inclusive and offered lots of choices, even for picky little eaters. Staff were warm and attentive, and made everyone in the family feel special. Our rooms were spacious and spotless. There was always something going on, from the kids’ club to the nightly shows. Barceló Bávaro exceeded every expectation, and we’ll definitely be back. It really knows how to make family memories.

Our butler, Ángel Arias, was professional, kind, and always attentive to what we needed or asked for. His help made the stay more enjoyable and memorable. Service across the hotel was outstanding too, with friendly, professional staff ready to assist. We enjoyed the range of activities, including Zumba classes, aquatic activities, and entertainment at the pool. I noticed a slight unpleasant odor in some parts of the hotel, and some pool tiles looked as if they were coming loose. Those areas could use maintenance and safety attention, but these issues didn’t significantly affect our visit. I have nothing to complain about overall. The hospitality, activities, and service were excellent, and I’d gladly return. I’d also recommend the Premium Level service or Guest Experience package for the extra benefits and comfort.

It’s a beautiful place, and the Palace feels a bit like a giant mall where the food is already paid for. There are shops if you want to buy things, along with several restaurants that require reservations, including Coral for seafood. I think I gained about half a pound a day. I treated myself. The resort is large, but it didn’t feel crowded except sometimes at the bars. Free alcohol means a bit of a wait for service, though not much. I’d prefer bowling to be included, but it was still worth paying to see my grandsons and wife try it for the first time.
