The gym equipment could use an update, that was my one real gripe. The resort itself is lovely, with a clean beach right beside it, well-kept rooms, and especially good staff and service. It suits couples looking for a quiet escape. If you're used to large resorts, expect fewer activities and restaurants, and give the peaceful atmosphere a chance.

I came with my son for a golf week, and after reading some negative reviews on the ride from the airport, I was a little worried. There was no need. It's a small, very quiet resort, and while it may suit couples best, we had a fantastic time and thought it was great value. The rooms are clean, the food is very good, and the pool and beach areas are immaculate. The place is about 15 years old, but it's well maintained and everything runs at a five-star level. Every staff member we met was terrific, and so attentive, always checking if we needed anything. I hope to return with my wife. Highly recommend Le Sivory.

Dinner was a fun choice each night, with three restaurants to alternate between: an Asian option, a buffet, and one with a One-Michellin Star Chef that also offers gourmet tasting menus every few days. The food was great, and our room was perfect, with a king-size bed. We spent a week at Le Sivory, and the quiet, relaxing setting made it feel like paradise. The hotel has about 50 rooms and is adults-only, so it was easy to unwind and get away from day-to-day life. The staff were very solicitous, and being away from the big hotel resorts was one of the best parts of the stay.

I didn't realize this was such a peaceful retreat, with just a tiny bar, three meals, and hardly any activities or music. At times the place even seemed abandoned, though I suppose I should have looked into that before coming. I got extremely sick from something I ate, or at least something I must have eaten, and mostly stayed in the room, which was amazing. The staff were the one bright spot for me. From the front desk to the waiters, room service, bartenders, and cooks, everyone was warm and their attention was amazing.
