Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado All Inclusive

The beach was beautiful, with white sand and emerald water, and the staff took care of drinks and lunch by the shore. We also got several surprise gifts representing Dominican Republic’s local culture, a lovely touch. After 7 days, we left feeling rejuvenated and recharged, ready to take on 2026. It all felt like a surreal dream, and we’ll cherish the memory. Thank you to the management team for such a great guest experience. From the warm welcome, Emma and Mariela were helpful from day one. The resort brings nature, wellness, and luxury together throughout its design and the way things flow. Juan, Faustina and Hudson led great cross-training and HIIT sessions, while Yosarah and Luz skillfully guided yoga, sound healing, and Energetic cleanses at Yubarta. The staff were respectful and well trained, with a personal warmth we haven’t experienced anywhere else. Yorgelys, the lobby bartender, surprised us daily with excellent cocktails. Tomalin, Ludwin, bar manager Adeuris, coffee barista Carmen with her cappuccinos, matcha drinks, and protein shakes, and driver Keddy, who was always available for rides around the property, all deserve a shoutout. The food was spectacular and consistent. Santa Yuca brought out the natural taste of organic food and seafoods, and Senda’s tasting menu was impressive across all 7 courses. Cayo Levantado Resort is a hidden gem on a private island. Forbes magazine’s recognition of it as one of the world’s finest resorts multiple years in a row felt deserved.

The meals were a real highlight, especially the steakhouse and Senda. Everything we ate was delicious and beautifully presented, an easy 10/10. At the beach bar, Glen kept checking that we had what we needed and made me lovely mocktails while I was pregnant. Johan, Pablo, and George were just as thoughtful. Our ambassadors, Eddyl and Alexander, sorted reservations, answered all our questions, and even arranged delivery of something I needed from off the island. Getting around by golf cart was simple, and the beach and pools were clean and restful. The stay started wonderfully too, with a scenic 10-minute boat ride to Cayo Levantado Island, cold towels, and welcome drinks. It all felt luxurious from the start.

We had the most relaxing holiday of our lives, and the staff were so warm and kind. The Yubarta area, gym, and trainers were great for fitting in activities between the beach cocktails and really good food. One thing to improve would be the transfer partner from Santo Domingo. A more professional outfit would make that part of the trip better. Thanks for such an amazing stay, we can't wait to come back.

The food was out of this world, from the huge breakfast buffet to dinner. We also loved the two pools and the private beach, where lunch could be served at the cabana. The spa was lovely too, and I had a great pedicure. There was so much to choose from each day, with more than eight activities offered. We stayed six nights and could have used a full week to try more of it all. Yubarta was our favorite spot for the daily meditations and energetic cleanses. Luce and Flore were terrific, and the morning breathwork on the beach left us feeling renewed. The gym had plenty of equipment, and Hudson and Juan made the classes so welcoming and encouraging that I took more than I expected, partly to keep up with all that food. The resort's eco-sustainable approach shows in its design and in many of the activities. Our ambassador, Eddyl, looked after us throughout and made us feel special. Even Super Bowl Sunday was fun: they showed the game live at an outdoor bar/pool and served themed food, while keeping the vacation atmosphere. From arrival to departure, we were treated like gold. This was the first trip where leaving gave me a real ache in my heart. Cayo Levantado was the most exquisite vacation we've ever had, and we'll absolutely return.
