Eurostars Grand Cayacoa

The people made this stay unforgettable. Carlos, the manager, deserves a special thank-you for going above and beyond, and I'm grateful to everyone at the resort. DJ Emanuel brought amazing music and was a great dancer, while GIGI was the heart and soul, with extra sunshine. The rooms were cozy, spotless, and comfortable, and the location looked just as stunning as the photos, with breathtaking views. The food was delicious too. A wonderful resort.

The beach is beautiful, and we always felt safe there. We had a great time at the resort, especially around the pool and during the evening entertainment. Orlando, Celia, GG, and Jennifer brought so much warmth and energy to the games, dancing, and singing that we're still laughing about it. Evelyn and Junior made the pool bar fun too. The food was excellent, the staff were amazing, and it's a lovely place to relax and make fun memories. I'd absolutely go back.

That bridge near the hotel is worth seeing, though be ready for lots of steps as you climb around the islands. The beach view from there is stunning. At the hotel, the staff are friendly and always smiling, and service is excellent. The pool bar staff member was especially lovely. They pay attention to what guests like to drink and keep the area clean. You can get extra beach towels and board games by the bar, and there are different entertainment options plus a gym if you want to work out.

The natural beauty of Samana and the surrounding area is incredible. My wife and I stayed at Eurostars Grand Cayacoa for the first time with my brother and sister-in-law, from February 5th - 12th 2026. We had seen some negative Facebook posts beforehand, but didn't want them to decide what we thought of the resort. Arriving on two full buses, we expected check-in to take ages. Franz and his team surprised us with a quick, smooth welcome for everyone. We spent a couple of mornings at the beach, which was very clean and raked daily. If any rubbish appeared, a staff member picked it up quickly. The pool area was clean too, and we never had trouble finding chairs. Thanks to Evelyn at the pool bar for keeping us “hydrated” with drinks. Inside and outside, the resort was bright and clean. On our second day we walked around to get our bearings, and every staff member we met was polite, friendly, and happy to answer questions. The best part for us was the entertainment team: Orlando, Gigi, Celia, and Jennifer. They seemed to enjoy what they were doing, whether it was pool aerobics, rope toss, or a good old game of Bingo (Bongo), and that made it fun for everyone. The same team was back for nightly entertainment. We ate at Panoramic and Vista Barbara, where the staff were friendly and smiling and the food was very good. The buffet was fantastic for breakfast and lunch, and we also had a couple of dinners there. There were plenty of main courses and desserts to choose from. I tried pretty much everything, and it was all very good. We'd definitely recommend Eurostars Grand Cayacoa, and already have. We'd also look to come back ourselves in the next few years.
