The house has a lovely sea view, a large porch with a breeze day and night, a grassy yard for kids, and a pool that’s great for children. It’s spacious, with three floors: four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor, three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and a small kitchenette with a refrigerator plus two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor. But be ready for noise. It was quiet in the morning, then from about 1 pm a big group gathered in front of the house, playing loud music and dancing until 9 pm. There’s also a colman bar in front where people gather every afternoon. I booked from July 1-5, 2021. If you want to get away from city noise and technology, and don’t mind an old house or the afternoon crowd, this may suit you. There’s no air conditioning. The only hot water is on the third floor, so the main and ground floors have cold water. Bedrooms have old fans that just blow hot air on hot days. Although there’s a nice sea breeze at night, doors need to stay closed because there’s no security fence. The furniture is dated and the beds are uncomfortable. They’re full size, not queen, and have only a thin sheet. Bathrooms have no curtains or shower doors, no bath mats or toiletries, just one hand towel and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for the whole stay. There are only two small towels per bedroom and no beach towels. The floors are very slippery. If you’re over 10, bring your own towels since these are tiny. Bring toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, blankets and beach towels too. The kitchen has a few plates and five mugs. Parking fits just one car, and there are no railings on the steps to the pool and beach, so it’s not suitable if you have mobility problems.
