There’s parking, though no swimming pool, and the price is good. Inside, the rooms are very clean and nicely finished. You get what you need to cook, a king size bed for a good night’s sleep, and a great shower. Best apartahotel I’ve seen in DR.

We booked a room so our infant could get out of the heat after our apartment had electrical problems for six days. A minute after we left to collect things for the motel, the owner of our apartment building told us the power was back. We returned within 5-7 minutes and asked for our money back, but were told they don’t do refunds. They should show more understanding and consideration. Make sure you really need the room, since there are no refunds. Otherwise, it’s a decent place to stay.

I had a really good two-night stay. Service was great, and room #5, on the top floor, was probably the best one. Foliage on its balcony helped cut down the street noise, everything in the unit worked well, and it was quite clean. There were quite a few mosquitoes, though, and I couldn’t tell where they were getting in.

The rooms are nice and the place feels very secure, but parking is poor. The owner is petty about anything that might get used or accidentally damaged in a room, and refuses guests with children because of it. If your suitcase bumps a wall, you may be told to pay for repainting; a blood stain on the bed can mean paying for the mattress and bedding. It feels like walking on eggshells. The owner won’t even show his face and leaves all communication to poorly paid staff.
