You can add breakfast to your stay, and it's absolutely worth it. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are amazing. It's close to just about everything in Sosúa, including a casino, yet it stays quiet with no noise issues.

The casino next door is so quiet you wouldn't know it was there. The rooms are clean and nice, the owner and staff are great, and the beach and entertainment are close by. Highly recommended.

Complimentary breakfast in the morning and armed guards on the grounds at night were reassuring. The hospitality was unmatched, the price was awesome, and the place was beautiful. It helped ease our nerves about international travel, especially with everything in the news lately. I'm so glad we picked this place, and it won't be my last stay.

Villa Chessa feels like my home away from home when I'm away from New York. The owner Mario and staff, including Bolivar, Wilkin & Jonah, give great attention and help. The grounds are beautifully kept, and there's a lovely pool. It's away from downtown Sosua noise, near the beautiful, quiet little beach called Playa Chiquita. A nice-sized apartment is very reasonably priced, with breakfast included. Five stars from me.

I've stayed at Villa Chessa several times over the past five years, and it's my go-to in Puerto Plata/Sosua. Mario, the owner, is the man. Ask him if you need a car, scooter, or motorcycle, money exchanged, or help if it's your first time in Sosua. The rates are reasonable, and the rooms are clean, safe and chica friendly. Bolivar, the manager, can arrange what you need. There's a good, real breakfast, a safe in the room, and free rides to the beach, downtown, airport, etc. If you're lucky, good-guy "King Kong" might stop by for a friendly chat. You can't go wrong here. Highly recommend it!
