El Colibri Hotel

The food and hotel were fantastic, and the swimming area and grounds were kept immaculate and clean. I’ve stayed at quite a few hotels in the Dominican Republic, and this is the best one. Donna is truly one of El Colibri’s best servers. She made sure all my dining needs were met with a smile and a helping hand, and she speaks lots of English as well as Spanish. Thanks to the owners and management for hiring such a wonderful, talented worker. Thank you, El Colibri. Ron Morris from Canada

Koodos to Tanya🥳! She made my birthday at the hotel unforgettable and made me feel extra special. It was my best birthday experience, and the food was amazing. Worth visiting. 🇩🇴

I first visited this hotel and restaurant during a Dominican Republic trip in late December and January, then chose to stay here on my quick return this week. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, and hotel security does a phenomenal job. The food is incredibly delicious, and every part of the place, from customer service and staff to the grounds, was top-notch. A five-star recommendation for anyone considering it for their next DR stay. Amazing job, guys. Can’t wait to visit again!

The pool was a nice place to relax, and the staff were friendly, so the stay began well. Then it took four days and several reminders to get the towels changed and trash emptied. The apartment was loud, with the street right outside the door, and unhygienic. I reported bed bugs and cockroaches and had photos to show them. Maybe that can happen in the DR, I don't know. They acknowledged it, and we agreed on a partial refund, but after checkout they stopped responding. I had to get Airbnb involved to recover my money. I can't recommend it 🥲
