The manager is always on duty and quickly arranges help when it's needed. Hotel Genova is clean and offers genuine hospitality. I'd recommend staying here for peace of mind and a chance to relax.

Our room had four beds, a mini kitchen, a dining table, and two sofas for our group of five and a baby. It was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. The service was great and the price very cheap, so I'd go back. The odd thing is getting in, since you enter between stores.

I was traveling solo and needed somewhere at the last minute. The owner was a good guy and set me up with one of his hotel efficiencies without any problem. It was ready to go, and he gave me tips on where to go, what to do, and how to carry myself in the city. He also offered more help if I needed it. The hotel is in the colonial Zone, where everything is within walking distance. It's a nice up-and-coming Hotel, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Santo Domingo for the first time 🙂.

Stores are conveniently close, but there was a lot of noise. My room looked old-fashioned, though it was doable.
