The room was small and poorly lit, with no bottle of water and basic amenities missing. There was a dirty razor left in the bathroom, and the staff were rude.

The location was the one bright spot, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The room itself badly needed maintenance: the AC leaked enough that I needed a bucket to catch the water, there was no hot water, and the sheets were dirty and stained. Towels and toilet paper were missing, and they had to replace the lightbulb during my stay. This fell far below expectations, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

The place is small, cute, and personal, more like a family place than a Hilton or Holiday Inn. It's in a historic area, close to all kinds of activities, and felt very safe. My family member and I enjoyed our stay. The employees were great, and the room was comfortable for the money. We had air conditioning and a fan, and breakfast was great. You can request what you want 24 hours ahead and get it. There's a pool, though I didn't have time to use it. I'd stay again, and would try for the second floor since there were too many flies on the first floor because of the pool.

Breakfast was a highlight, plenty of fresh fruit, toast, eggs made the way you like, cheese, ham, coffee, and fresh juice. Our room was charming and had enough space. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and even the owner, Mark, sat and had a drink with my boyfriend and me for over half an hour. The area felt welcoming for tourists, with people speaking different languages and police patrolling regularly. I’d stay here again.

We spent two weeks here and found it quiet and private. The rooms were very nice, and plenty of restaurants and shops were within walking distance.
