Residenz Vesuvio

I ended up here as an emergency choice after my original booking was canceled. It was cheap, but easily the worst place I’ve ever stayed. There was no electricity most of the time, no running water, and no AC. The place was very dirty, and the tenants upstairs were loud. My “apartment” was basically one room: the front door opened into it, with a bedroom behind and a bathroom at the far end. The only window was beside the entrance, so on hot or humid days and nights there was no way to get a draft. The air felt stale and I was sweating. There was no fridge either, though it wouldn’t have helped much without power. The address on the confirmation was nowhere near the real one. My taxi driver spent 50 minutes driving around to find it, and I had to pay for that. Think carefully before choosing this place. You’ve been warned.
