B&B El Mirador al Mar

We spent two nights at B&B El Mirador Al Mar with our small dog, and it was unforgettable. The hosts, Luce and Massimo, made us feel like family and shared detailed suggestions for places to visit nearby. The setting is close to the city but surrounded by nature, with stunning sea views. Waking up to the morning breeze was a treat. Breakfast was outstanding, beautiful to look at and delicious. We’ll definitely come back!

The shower had warm water, and breakfast was made with so much care, with a lovely view. Luce and Massimo are very kind and have created a calm, beautiful place in Sosúa. They helped us find a good snorkeling trip and figure out the best way to get to Samana. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Luce, Massimo and Zeus :)

We stayed for six weeks and had a beautiful experience. The house is in a very quiet spot surrounded by nature, yet not far from the center. Our room with an outdoor kitchen was one of a kind. Luce and Massimo were so welcoming. Thanks for a lovely time!

A peaceful place with a lovely ocean view over Sosúa. Luce and Massimo, the owner-hosts, are attentive. Breakfast cost extra with my plan; it was simple but well done. The rooms have a rustic feel, with polished coral floors and wood fittings. Massimo hand makes the tables, doors, and other woodwork. The rooms were very clean, the window screens were good, and the fans kept me cool even without air conditioning. There’s usually a nice sea breeze. It’s a fairly long walk into Sosua, and the beach is a bit farther. Most people might want a taxi for the return trip, though taxis are easy to find. You can also flag down a ‘motoconcho’ if you get tired on the way. There’s plenty of gated parking if you have a car. I highly recommend it if you want somewhere safe and quiet, with easy access to the beach and the liveliness of Sosua and Cabarete.
