One of my favorite restaurants in Sosua. I'm Jonathan, a taxi driver here, and I always recommend it to my passengers. I love the food, and my daughter Maia is especially fond of the pizza.

I came for a meal, not to book a room. There's a big menu and the prices aren't too high. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. I might book a room next time too.

I stayed in one of the tropical, picturesque rooms at Piergiorgio Hotel, at Calle La Puntilla numero 1, 57000 Sosúa, Dominican Republic. There are also standard hotel rooms. The views were stupendous, and I enjoyed pretending I was glam camping. The place is mostly wood and plastic, with the bed raised on wooden stilts. Tiny ants were around, but they kept to themselves as long as I stayed off the floor. I kept my bags on the plastic dining table and wooden dresser. I wouldn't recommend the bed for anyone over 250 pounds sleeping alone, or 300 pounds as a couple. The screen doors slide and have only paper clip locks, so I took my passport, cards, and phone whenever I went out. I figured I could rebuild from there if the worst happened and the room was empty when I got back. That's not meant as a criticism, just the same precautions I'd take camping in a tent. Sorry, I don't know how to change the name on this review.
