Breakfast is included, and the airport ride makes this place especially good value. The staff were very kind and attentive. It's new construction, and I liked the layout: a loft bedroom with the A/C unit upstairs, plus a living area downstairs with a microwave and mini fridge. The room is still very new, from the TV to the furniture, and the wifi is fast. The shower is roomy and works for tall people. Beds are on the firm side, so side sleepers should know that. Bring shampoo and conditioner, plus body wash or soap if you have sensitive skin. They didn't provide those or a washcloth, so pack one or a loofah.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant. It was fabulous, and I look forward to coming back next trip.

On my last visit to the country I stayed at Hillmon's hotel, a quiet place with an excellent price. It's close to everything in central Sosua and only a few minutes' walk from Alicia beach. The bar is excellent too, with good atmosphere, great customer service, and drinks at a great price.

Clean place, but the bed could be bigger and better. They should at least provide soap for the shower.
