The hotel grounds are very nice, but the front area by Main Street, where my room was, wasn't as appealing. I assume the unit was privately owned. My room was outdated in every way: furniture, dishes, TV, bed, and dingy linens. This is the room I booked, though apparently there's a block of cheaper rooms that aren't very good. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant on the property. Service was extremely slow, and the food was only okay when it finally arrived. I also didn't appreciate a company on the resort grounds unexpectedly knocking on my door to invite me to a complimentary lunch with one of its representatives, who then tried to sell me an investment or timeshare. It was misleading and annoying. No thanks!

The sunsets from Infiniti Blu are lovely, and the infinity pool is beautiful. That's about all I can praise. The apartment in the photos and what you actually get can be completely different: mine could have been a worn-out mess with broken lights, doors, and windows, black mold, sticky stains, and pubic hair everywhere. My windows faced a noisy street instead of a garden. After I complained that the room was unlivable, I might have been moved to another address on a different street, far from the beach, since that was where the only other apartments were. Power and water sometimes went out for 4-6 hours because the generators kept breaking down. Some weeks cleaning came, some weeks it didn't, and you could go a whole week without service. The guards weren't kept up to date on residents, so I was sometimes taken to the office to prove who I was when I came home, even though my documents had been scanned and were supposedly given to them. Management apologized and agreed to a partial refund toward the end, but the whole vacation was ruined. I've been to over 20 countries, and this was the first hotel experience that made me cry.

I used to think this place was great, but this visit was a nightmare. The beach view is the main draw, yet they started construction without telling me. At the front desk, Luna said something had broken down that same day. When I asked Diego, who handles the outside atmosphere, he said it had been shared among them a week earlier and they chose this season because it isn't as busy. I asked for a refund because this wasn't what I paid for, but they refused. There were mosquitoes everywhere, as you can see in the breakfast they brought in. Please don't come here!

We never regretted booking an apartment in this residence. The complex is attractive and thoughtfully laid out, it's quiet, the pools are always clean, and the private beach is lovely. It's a large, gated area with security on site. One drawback is that many people who don't live here sometimes come to the beach. A few times, there were no free sunbeds by the pool, so we went back to our room. That doesn't seem right. Still, overall it's a very good complex and a nice place to stay.

You can watch cruise ships pass from here, and the sunsets are beautiful. The complex sits right on the ocean in downtown Sosua, with its own beach, a couple of pools, and a beach bar. There are several buildings with units ranging from one to three bedrooms. Security is very good, and the atmosphere feels pleasant and family friendly. Long-term rentals and low-season stays cost less.
