Ocean Palms Residences

We chose Ocean Palms thinking it welcomed families, but our children faced repeated hostility. A neighbor screamed at them several times, and one episode escalated to threats against our family. Management told us not to confront her because of her “important family connections & being crazy.” When we tried to report what happened, we were told there was no complaint process for us. We were blamed over and over for general noise, including incidents that had nothing to do with our kids. The owner told us that “adults are the priority here” and called us “the sacrificial lamb” because we had children. Our deposit was returned without trouble, but that doesn’t undo the gaslighting, discrimination, or emotional harm. We eventually had to leave to protect our children’s well-being. Ocean Palms may look community-oriented, but it isn’t welcoming to families. Families, especially those with neurodivergent children, should be very cautious.

Ocean Palms is peaceful, with a clear pool that never seemed crowded, a nice atmosphere, friendly accommodating staff, and a low-key security team. It’s guest friendly, too. The Sousa party strip is close and easy to reach by car pool, and there are beaches all around, whether you want a lively one or somewhere relaxing. Hotels closer to the strip are fine, but light sleepers should expect noise. The motorbike operators seem to have attended kamikaze school, and they’re certainly loud. A fantastic place to lay your head. Treat yourself, Ocean Palms is top shelf ❤️

Lovely, very clean, and well cared for, with everything close by. The staff were attentive and helpful. I’ll be back and would highly recommend it.

The customer service was the best part, with staff who were polite and extremely helpful. The facilities were clean and everyone was very accommodating. I had an amazing stay at Ocean Palms in an ocean-front villa on the third floor, with a splendid view of the blue Ocean. The villa was relaxing, and I’ll definitely come back.
