The man who welcomed us gave my great nephews a bar pizza, even though he’d never met them. I’m 75 and have never seen anyone show that much care for guests. I’d give him a 5.0 for being a tremendous human. We stayed at Hotel coastal love in Punta Cana on our last night there. It’s an older hotel, but the amenities were great.

It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you need sleep. There was a lot of noise from construction outside and cars passing at all hours. The speed bump right in front of the hotel makes drivers floor it afterward, which gets really loud.

I read about the noise before staying, and there was plenty, though I didn’t find it unbearable. For what I paid, I really can’t complain. It’s a small, affordable, clean hotel with great staff and clean rooms. I’d recommend it for at least a couple of nights.

We were a bit nervous driving through the local neighbourhood, but the hotel turned out to be quite nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and having a Japanese restaurant on site was a bonus. Fine for a one-night stay.

Jaime is the best, and the breakfast and restaurant are excellent. It’s a great little hotel for the price. The rooms are very clean and the staff are so nice and accommodating, though it can be noisy.
