4/10
The room was exceptionally clean, and the view over Ain El Turk was beautiful. Those were the clear positives for me. The building has serious visible structural decay, with cracks everywhere. The room and bathroom are extremely cramped, and the balcony railing is rusty and unstable, which feels like a real safety risk. There’s no Wi-Fi, and the TV had only about 10 channels, most barely working. It felt like stepping back in time, in a bad way. Breakfast was unacceptably poor. At one point I was given butter without any bread, which shows a total lack of basic coordination. The price is exorbitant for this quality of stay. You’re paying a lot for what feels like a miserable night in a deteriorating facility. I’m trying to be objective for future travelers: don’t be fooled by the clean room or view. With the poor management and lack of maintenance, this is a bad use of your time and money. I wouldn’t recommend staying until there’s been a serious renovation.
