The location is great, and the cleanliness was somewhere between average and acceptable. But the room was missing basics like soap and toilet paper, and there wasn’t even a water heater. For 4500 DZD, that’s really disappointing. I won’t stay here again.

I’m honestly still confused about why the people there treated me so badly from the moment I arrived. I was a stranger who knew nothing about Algeria 🇩🇿, and I still wonder what their issue with me was after returning to Oman 🇴🇲. They don’t know me, and I don’t know them. Maybe they acted that way because I’m from Oman and assumed all Gulf Arabs are alike. 😟 The older man and his son, who worked with him and wore glasses 👓, were especially disrespectful. I expected kindness and consideration from the accommodation, and hoped it would give a good impression of Algeria 🇩🇿, but my experience was the opposite. I’ve never encountered people like them anywhere in the world, and I wouldn’t recommend staying there. I’ve only ever been treated with kindness and respect by Algerians 🇩🇿 🙏🏻. People have been wonderful everywhere from Annaba to Oran, apart from these men. I say this sincerely, it was one of the worst experiences of my life.

The room is on the small side, though once you’re there it doesn’t feel too cramped. The shower and tables are inside the room, and at night you can hear your neighbor talking. The floor was clean, but there was dust in a few spots. It’s a safe place, thank God, with everything nearby. The city center and tram stop are just steps away. I thought the price was a little high. A triple room costs 5500, and lowering it could make this the best place in Bordj El Kiffan and bring in more guests. The stairs up to the third floor were a real hassle. Still, thanks for the hospitality. If I’m back in Bordj El Kiffan, I’d consider staying here again.
