Hôtel Hammamet Alger

We returned at 1 a.m. to the replacement room and found other women in it. The room we’d been given first wasn’t clean, and even after asking to switch, things went badly. The staff weren’t professional. Honestly, it was a very bad experience, and I’d tell people not to go there.

The rooms were clean, though nothing special, and breakfast was decent, at least. The staff were nice too, apart from the welcome. The agent didn’t even say hello or smile, which felt awful for what I paid. Dinner wasn’t great, and some ingredients seemed old. Service needs work, and the location is bad, especially for a woman traveling alone. Would I recommend it? No. There are better places for the price. Also, the comments look like they could be bots, or maybe employees favor certain people, if you know what I mean. I fell for it, so don’t.

The sea views were lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and nice, and everyone on staff was kind and polite. We checked in late, but the man at the front desk was really accommodating and made the whole process smooth. We’ll definitely come back. Amine and Oana Andreea 🇬🇧

We really enjoyed our stay as a family. The service was fantastic, with helpful, welcoming staff, and the young men in the dinner hall were especially professional and great. Our sea view room was very good and clean. The TV’s WiFi was slow. For the money, it was good value, and better than a four star hotel I visited the week before. I’d give this one 4-5 stars.
