Grand Hotel Adghir

After our Paris to Senegal flight was delayed by about 4 hours, AirAlgeria took us to this hotel. We had no choice: it was 2am, and immigration officials kept our passports, so we couldn't book a hotel or airbnb ourselves. It felt like the place had stopped operating 70 years ago. So outdated, rust in the tub, roaches in the bathroom. I didn't want my body touching the bed or reception couches, and slept in layers because everything felt nasty. It was the most disgusting hotel I've been to. Shame on AirAlgeria for taking us there. The next day, the food they cooked was tasty. But the tea we ordered took over 30 minutes, looked greasy, and we didn't drink it. I'd never recommend this hotel, and I'd never fly AirAlgeria again to avoid going through that experience.

Its only redeeming points are its seaside location and proximity to the airport, neither of which makes up for the exorbitant prices. The hygiene was abysmal, the rooms and facilities were dirty, and there was no real service or hospitality. I can't understand how this place is still operating. They seem to rely entirely on their location and offer nothing else of value. I'd strongly advise against staying here.

Algerian Airways took us there after our flight had been delayed several times. The location is the only positive thing. The rooms are very basic, so don't expect much or you'll be disappointed. The AC seems to be there just to make noise. Dinner was simple, the dining room gets 3/10, and the staff also 3/10. Free Wifi is available.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The bed felt cheap, there were lots of insects and moskitos, and the room was bad. The AC sounded like a caterpillar, and even with it turned off, the neighbors' AC was still annoying. There was no hot water, and the bathroom wasn't clean or well maintained.
